Sheryl is the mother of
five "exceptional" children and the grandmother of three (one girl and two
boys.) She loves being a grandma and especially enjoys the
opportunities to spend time with them. She wishes that she could see
them more often.
Sheryl enjoys spending
time with her family, singing, making crafts, gardening, and power walking.
She is a skilled nurse, chauffeur, chef, seamstress, councilor, school
tutor, and motivator.
Recently Sheryl completed
a course in Master Gardening from the local university and has really
enjoyed the new knowledge. Of course, all of her family have always regarded her as a master gardener.
Sheryl has been a vigilant gardener since her early married life. She
grows everything from alfalfa sprouts in the window sill, to herbs and
vegetables in the garden. Sheryl loves to grow flowers, especially
pansies.
Sheryl is currently
serving as the Relief Society president in the Klein ward of the
Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints. The Relief Society is the largest and oldest
women's organization in the world, which was established in the 1800's to
care for those who need help - physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
